Uncle Ho's Cafe

An important aspect of the brief for this fitout was a request from the client to source and incorporate local Vietnamese furniture and fittings into the cafe - this allowed us to design a space that shifted the focus from a purely spatial point of view onto a collection of objects and artefacts that tells a story.

The use of green as a single bold background colour anchors the material palette of rattan and timber, and allowed the monochromatic black steel frames and floor tiles to articulate the spatial experience further.
